Man stabbed on train
A MAN was stabbed and bashed during an attempted armed robbery on a train on August 4.
The 18-year-old was travelling to the city about 9.30pm when a group of about 15 Asian youths boarded the train at Huntingdale station. One of the youths demanded the man’s mobile phone before the group attacked him.
The victim was treated at Monash Medical Centre.

Two men held
OAKLEIGH detectives have charged two Clayton men, aged 17 and 20, with armed robbery and other offences.
The pair are remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
Burglary charge
A 27-YEAR-old Cranbourne man has been charged with aggravated burglary and other offences. He has been bailed to appear in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on October 1.
