JUNIOR school drama students at Wesley College, Glen Waverley, have won several categories at the Australian One-Act Play Championships.
In the open division, students won the most outstanding production, and most outstanding direction, categories for their play, Albatross.
Their performance was all the more outstanding as they were competing against students in year 12.
In the theatre workshop division for year 10 students, David Myles Brown won best male actor, Sophie Ligeris best female actor, and Billy Stoupas best support actor.
The team came second in the most outstanding production category for the play Good For Nothing.
This is the third consecutive year Wesley has received accolades.
Drama students also competed in the adult division of the State Drama Championships this month and won the most outstanding production and best direction for their performances in Barricades and Barbed Wire.
Year 12 student Erica Dunn was named best female actor.
