THE face of real estate has changed for the better with the launch of Radar – an initiative of and the Commonwealth Bank. Radar provides house hunters and renters with the tools to find out a property’s proximity to community amenities and services.

House hunters will also have the option to nominate the property features they prefer.

Radar property search gives each property a star rating, from zero to five stars, according to

how closely it matches the user’s ideal property features and lifestyle.

Tony Blamey, Domain general manager of key categories, Victoria Publishing, said the lifestyle search on Radar would “provide our real estate agents with more highly qualified leads as well as a unique insight into the way-of-life wish list”.

The search capability was established through a collaborative effort by the Commonwealth Bank and Fairfax Digital.

Michael Cant, executive general manager (retail products) of the Commonwealth Bank, said:

“ Radar helps buyers find their ideal property and allows them to calculate a home loan and repayment scenario.”
